Annual Las Vegas trip...

Every September, my husband heads to Las Vegas for the busiest weekend of his year at work - the Mr. Olympia.  He works at Bodybuilding.com, and this is his 4th year in Vegas for it and my 3rd year tagging along. While Eric is in back to back meetings and exhausted the entire weekend, I always manage to entertain myself with the pool and shopping with the other wives ;)

The first night while the hubby's were at dinner, Steph & I went to La Reve Cirque du soleil show at the Wynn and it was AMAZING!  My favorite show I've seen..so beautiful!!

Friday night party at Surrender nightclub.

Eric feeling super exhausted after his first long day of meetings.

Eric's old boss' wife and I became great friends....and then they moved to Texas :(  I look forward to seeing her more than anything every year in Vegas now!!!

Shopping break at Serendipity with the girls :)

Obviously I got the huge grilled cheese.

Tory Burch visit...its tradition ;)

While the husbands work....the wives shop!!!

Dinner with one of Eric's vendors & some co-workers.

Our good friends Steph & Trevor after dinner.

Our favorite hotel...the Wynn!

My best friend's wedding.

In September, my very best friend in the entire world got married!  Laura and I have been best friends for 21 years, and we have spent every single milestone by each other's side.  I am so glad I got to be there for her on her big day like she was for me on mine!

Laura and Greg were set up on a blind date years ago and I remember that night so well.  On the phone before their date we panicked that he might be a killer.  Little did we know he would be her future husband ;)  From the moment we met Greg I knew he was perfect for her.

They got married in Sandy, Utah at La Caille and it was BEAUTIFUL.  What a perfect place for a wedding - straight out of a fairytale!  We had the best time and are so happy for them.  Eric and I are so lucky to have these two as our life long best friends!

It was so great having our childhood best friends all together.

Cutest gift!

My handsome date across the head table ;)

Date night in SLC

One afternoon last month, my boss and some guys were taking the private jet to SLC for the Utah football game. Since there was an extra seat on the plane - they let me tag along and have a date night with my friend Christine.  The 5 hours went by way too fast...but we managed to squeeze in dinner with her cute family and date night at our favorite place City Creek for some shopping :)

I swear we aren't related ;)

Laura's Bridal Shower

In August I threw my best friend Laura's bridal shower brunch in my parent's backyard. I had the best time planning & decorating.  It was a perfect morning!

We've been best friends for 21 years, so there were a LOT of photos to choose from!

My best friend, the beautiful bride.

Part of my gift for Laura...
Most of all, let love guide your life.

San Francisco has our heart.

If we could live anywhere, we are 99% sure it would be San Francisco.  We have been going once a year to visit my older brother that lives there - and every time we come home kicking and screaming.  We never want to leave SF!  It's the very best.  Since it's unlikely we will ever move there....we will continue visiting at LEAST once a year.  San Francisco has our hearts.

In July we went with my parents to visit my brother, and go to the John Mayer & Philip Phillips concert.  We had the best time...

La Boulange.  So good.

First stop: DRY BAR! My all time favorite place.

Funny story.  My BFF Kelli moved to SF after falling in love with my brother's friend. (I like to take credit for them obviously) I am forever jealous that she gets to live there but forever happy I get to see her when I visit now :)

The boys.  My dad, brother & hubby waiting patiently outside Dry Bar.
**I am looking for a wife for my brother.  He is 29, lives in SF, and has recently been interviewed for the SF Chronicle, Huffington Post & The New Yorker - his start up is on the verge of major success.....If there's any place to find him one, its standing outside Dry Bar, right???  If you are interested please let me know.  But seriously. ;)

Coffee + Fillmore St = perfect afternoon.

John Mayer concert!!! Amazing.

Concert time with the family.
